You planned the whole year. You found the curriculum, kept the schedule, showed up on the hard days, and made it work. And then June arrived.
Now it is nearly July, and somewhere between the screen time negotiations and the “I’m bored” declarations, a quieter thought has started creeping in.
Did we do enough this year? And how do I keep the momentum going without burning out completely?
If that is where you are right now, you are not behind. You are just a homeschooling parent in the middle of summer, and that is exactly the family WISE Up Educational Services was built for.
Built by Educators Who Have Been in Your Corner Since 1998
Courtney and Gabriela have been teaching since 1998. Long before hybrid learning and learning pods became household words, they were in classrooms and communities, watching families navigate education with tremendous dedication and very little structural support, and simultaneously homeschooling their own children.
In 2021, they founded WISE Up Educational Services in Fort Myers to fill that gap, and they built something that did not exist anywhere else in Southwest Florida: a Spanish Immersion Academy designed specifically for homeschool families.
Not a co-op. Not a tutoring center. A real academic program, with original curriculum developed by the same credentialed educators who deliver it every week, taught entirely in the immersive bilingual tradition where language is not a subject on the schedule — it is the air in the room.
What a Spanish Immersion Academy Means for Your Child
At WISE Up, Spanish is not a class that happens on Tuesdays. It is woven into everything: math, history, science, art, cooking, and conversation. Students ages 5 through 17 build fluency the way children naturally do: by living inside the language across subjects and activities, not by drilling vocabulary lists in isolation.
The program runs Monday through Thursday and offers three flexible tiers, so families can join at one, two, or four days per week depending on what fits their season of life. Every tier includes the option for core academics, enriching electives, or both because rigor and joy are not in competition with each other at WISE Up. They are the same thing.
WISE Up also accepts the Step Up for Students PEP and Unique Abilities (UA) Scholarships, making the program accessible to families across Lee County who are ready for something different.
The Questions WISE Up Answers Without You Having to Ask
Every homeschool parent carries a version of the same invisible checklist.
Are my kids learning? Are they on grade level? Am I doing this right? Am I enough?
At WISE Up, those questions do not disappear. They get answered. Your child is with educators who have more than 25 years of experience, using curriculum that was purpose-built for the way homeschool students actually learn. Progress is visible. Community is real. And for a few hours a week, the full weight of your child’s education does not rest entirely on your shoulders.
That is not a luxury. That is the point.
Come Experience It First, For Free
This July, WISE Up is opening the doors for something special.
Un Verano Con Frida is a free, one-day Spanish immersion summer camp designed specifically for families who have been curious about WISE Up but want to experience it before committing to enrollment.
